Medisynth Chemicals has a legacy few can match, because it started as an act of kindness. The late Manjunath Vaknalli opened a pharmacy in Mumbai to give the city's working class safe, cheap homeopathic medicines, the drops and pills an ordinary family could buy. It ran very well and soon became popular. The next generation took the business further. They set up a manufacturing unit, one of the earliest homeopathic units in Mumbai, to make their own batch of each remedy.
